The CellCube 36L Oxygenator is designed to provide gas conditioned media to a 4 x 100 CellCube production scale system. It functions by constantly maintaining a thin film of culture media flowing down the sides of the vessel for efficient gas exchange. Media conditioned in this way results in none of the foaming found in sparged systems eliminating the need for pluronic or other anti-foaming agents. The assembly is sterilizable and incorporates a 100 mm headplate assembly stainless steel level sensor probe. Two polarographic oxygen probes are contained in stand-alone probe holders: one measuring dissolved oxygen levels going to the CellCube Modules, the other probe measuring dissolved oxygen levels exiting the CellCube Modules.
